A Dutch citizen with over 35 years of international management experience with major multinational companies, such as: Procter & Gamble, Quaker Oats, RJR/Nabisco, Timex and Motorola. Also held top-management positions at two major property development groups based in the United Arab Emirates, namely: Limitless (a Dubai World company) and Enshaa (an EIG company).
Living in Dubai since 1995, and currently assisting Dubai-based Center House DMCC. The company provides clients with management consulting and business advisory services in the areas of strategic planning, business development, and government relations as well as marketing and sales support. Regularly involved, as a part-time faculty member (delivering MIB, MBA and EMBA programs) Hult International Business School since the 2012-2013 academic year. Member of the Judges Panel (“On-Campus” round) for Hult Prize 2019; involving 1000 universities (100,000 students) competing for the US$1 million prize. Also involved with the Ibtikar/Innovation initiative of the UAE’s HCT (Higher Colleges of Technology) since 2017.
Gained valuable experience in marketing, sales, distribution, channel management, business development, strategic planning, and general management over the years. Set up and/or expanded several business units through the proper planning and execution of cost-effective regional operations. American-educated from the age of 6 onwards and graduated from Northwood University (Michigan – USA).
